Good to know

How much is an X-PRO suit?

£595 for the FIA 8877-2022 Grade 1 homologated suit, or £545 for the non-homologated suit for club racing and track days. Sublimation printed or cut & sewn with embroidered logos, same price. Custom fit is included.

How long does it take?

4 to 6 weeks from when we have your measurements, and a little longer in peak season. You get a tracking number as soon as it ships.

What does delivery cost?

Tracked and insured: UK £35, Europe £65, UAE £75, rest of the world £95. Each extra suit in the same order adds 25%. Gloves ordered with a suit ship free in the same box.

Will I pay import duties?

Every suit is posted from the UK. Outside the UK, any duties and taxes are paid on delivery.

How do I give my measurements?

Type them in as you order: 19 measurements, each with a picture of where the tape goes, in cm. Or upload the completed size form. Or pay first and send them later from the link we email you. We start making your suit once they're in.

Is it FIA approved?

Choose the FIA 8877-2022 Grade 1 homologated suit for championships that need one. The non-homologated suit is for club racing, practice and track days.

Can I check my design before I pay?

Yes. You approve a design proof showing every colour, logo and name from every angle before anything is made.

Can I spread the cost?

Homologated (FIA 8877-2022 Grade 1) suits meet the official safety standard required by many competitive karting series. If your championship regulations specify a minimum FIA standard, you'll need the homologated option.

Non-homologated suits are ideal for recreational karting, track days, and series that don't mandate FIA approval. They are made to the same high quality but without the FIA certification. Always check your series regulations if you're unsure, or ask us and we'll advise.

If you use our online X-PRO configurator to build your own design, there is no design fee. The configurator is free to use.

The £95 bespoke design fee applies if you want our in-house design team to create a unique design from scratch based on your brief, reference images, or an existing suit you'd like us to recreate. We'll produce a production proof for your approval before anything is manufactured.

Yes, all logos and branding are included as standard. Simply send us your logo files (ideally vector .AI, .EPS or high-res .PNG) and tell us where you'd like them placed. Our design team will incorporate them into your proof for approval before production begins.

Both are FIA 8877-2022 Grade 1 homologated and fully customisable. The X-PRO is slightly more accessible in price, while the Marina UNIK is a prestige option with a 20-working-day production window.

There are two routes. You can build a design on our X-PRO configurator and we'll map it across onto the correct AeroSuit template, or our in-house team can create a bespoke design from your brief, reference images, or an existing suit. The AeroSuit is unique on fit. Because the fabric has an elastic quality, all we need is your total height and weight. There's no full measurement form to complete. That elastic construction lets the suit adapt to your shape, giving a closer, more comfortable fit than a standard cut. If you're unsure, send us your height and weight and we'll advise.

Yes. We make the AeroSuit for junior and youth drivers too. As with adults, we only need the driver's total height and weight thanks to the suit's elastic fit. Let us know these when you enquire and we'll take care of the rest.

Each Marina product has its own dedicated configurator page on our website, where the price updates as you build your design. If you're happy to proceed, we'll take payment and then submit the design directly into production.

Design questions

Absolutely. Send us a photo, sketch, or description of what you're after and our design team will recreate it on the suit template as closely as possible. You'll receive a proof to review and request any changes before production. The bespoke design fee (£95) applies for this service.

We work with you until you're happy. Once your proof is shared, you can request amendments such as colour tweaks, logo repositioning, or text changes, and we'll update the design accordingly. We won't send anything to production until you're fully satisfied.

The best formats are vector files (.AI or .EPS), which scale perfectly at any size. High-resolution .PNG files (ideally 300dpi+) also work well. If you only have a low-res logo, let us know and we can advise. In some cases we can work with it. In others we may need to request an alternative.

We offer three fits: slim, regular and loose. About 95% of drivers pick slim, which is a fitted, race-style cut. Regular gives you a bit more room. Loose is exactly what it sounds like, very generous, and works best for larger drivers (typically 95kg+). Custom fit is included with all three at no extra cost. Every suit is made to your exact measurements, not generic sizing.

Just ask. Since all suits are made to your measurements, being "between sizes" isn't an issue. We work from your actual body measurements rather than a standard size chart. If you have any concerns or unusual proportions, mention this when you submit and we'll advise accordingly.

Marina standard sizes run from European 44 to 68. The chart matches each size to a range of weight, height, chest, waist and hip measurements. If your chest or waist sits outside the standard range for your height, the chart shows an EXTRASIZE option for that exception. Download the chart below to find your size. Just ask. If you're going custom-fit, being "between sizes" isn't an issue because your suit is cut to your exact measurements. If you're choosing standard sizes and your build doesn't fall neatly into one size (chest broader than the chart suggests for your height, for example), mention this when you enquire. There's often an EXTRASIZE option in the chart, or custom fit may be the better route.

Yes, we regularly make suits for junior and youth drivers of all ages, including children as young as 8–10 years old. Since suits are made to measure, age is less relevant than actual measurements. Just let us know the driver's age, height, and build when you enquire and we'll guide you through the sizing process.

Yes, our X-PRO FIA 8877-2022 Grade 1 homologated option is available in junior sizes. If your child is competing in a series that requires FIA approval, we can accommodate this. Check your series regulations or ask us if you're unsure which standard applies.
